Enough already!!

Ok guys, that's about enough! I think alot of the last post may have been blown out of proportion. Dad did call me on my cell phone, but I couldn't really talk, because my boss was in the truck with me. I don't guess I got that across to him. Then the other crap started. Everything was just starting to get real ugly, and if I left that up there, it would have defeated the purpose of the post. Hey, I want everyone to get along, that was the point of the last post, but I guess you retards missed it. That was a joke, by the way. Thanks for all the kind words, I really appreciated them. I know the reason that Natalie has dystonia, and what other people think about that does not matter to me in the least. Yeah, it is my fault, Angie's too, SHE HAS OUR DAMN GENES, that's the extent of it. It doesn't matter to me what other people's views are on how I raise my kids. I do it to the best of my ability, and I get better at it all the time. By the way, did you get the crux of that statement, MY KIDS, not yours. End of story.

I will never follow one of Angie's posts with one of my own again, I had my own idea for that one, but I changed it after I read hers. She did a fine job of expressing her opinion, and did not need any of my help. No, I'm not backing away from what I said, but she said it well enough. I still feel the way I feel, and nothing will change that. I will continue to state my opinions and feelings on here, otherwise there is no reason for me to do this. Angie is going to go the warm and fuzzy route, and that is fine, but I will not change how I do this, because I enjoy it. I hope you do too, if you don't, you need to go read something else, then we will both be happy.

The kids and I stood outside last night and watched two coyotes eating bugs under our guard light. It is about 60 feet from our back porch. Excellent views of nature at it's finest. Brayden tried his hardest to scare them off with his crying, but he couldn't. I have been watching them for about 2 weeks now, and last night was the first time I saw them early enough to show the kids. Natalie wants to leave them dead rabbits or dog food to eat. She said that Matthew and I could kill the rabbits with our bows and leave them for the coyotes. I said that I liked the rabbits better than the coyotes, and offered to shoot the coyotes and leave them for the rabbits to eat. We decided that this wouldn't work, so we will leave things the way they are. We will enjoy watching them, and them watching us for as long as they will come around. Especially since all my guns were stolen, and I can't shoot them, I don't want to loose any arrows. Maybe they will be here when Beth and Scott come next weekend, and even Gary and Kim the following weekend. Who knows, Natalie will probably start leaving them dog food, even though she was told not to, because she is a softy. I guess we will have to just wait and see.

Later,

Jim

Home again!

Well the drive out was good. Nat, Matt and I played the ABC game a few times. Hopefully they will improve, or cheat, but it was fun just the same. We left just before 7 am, and got to Sweetwater at about 10:25 am. I dropped the kids off there with Bill and Barbara, then got back on the road to Midland. I got there about 12:25 pm, went and ate lunch with Bobby, Chanda, Bailey, Chloe, Delaynee, Danny (Chanda's dad), Nicole and Casey (Chanda's sister and her husband). Then off to the airport. Bobby and Casey dropped me off at about 1:30 pm, just right for a 2:40 pm flight. I thought that I would be flying over Bill and Barbara's house, because last time I flew from Dallas to Midland I went right over. So, I told the kids to be outside about 3:05 and watch for a plane, daddy would be on it. No such luck. We flew well south of Sweetwater, and they live about 15 miles north. We were avoiding bad weather. But, Matthew said he waived to me anyway, what a good boy.

I arrived in Dallas about 5 minutes early, at 3:45 pm, and went to meet Angie and Brayden. They were just a few minutes late, no big deal. Then we were off to go to a new Home Depot Landscape store in Colleyville. The store was actually a big letdown for me, I guess I expected too much. It is as advertised, a landscape store, but I was expecting more of a Home Depot feel. Then to Sam's for a new outfit for Brayden, and some pants and a shirt for me. Afterwards, we went to eat at Cafe Express. I love this place. They have unpitted olives, little pickles, and other stuff to snack on while you are waiting on your food to come out. We both ordered the combo, you get a sandwich, soup, and a salad. We both had chicken soup, and chicken salad sandwiches, but I got a ceasar salad, and she got a greek salad. Perfect on my food, but Angie said the Greek salad was too SPICY!!! I have never had one, and did not have a bite of her's, even though it was offered, but a spicy salad. WOW, that is a concept I could get into.

Afterwards, Angie did a little shopping in the stores that were close, and I took Brayden to the truck, where he went to sleep on my lap. He was so sleepy that it made me tired. What a great feeling, knowing that your child is so comfortable with you that he can go to sleep while sitting on your lap. I know that it happens all the time, but not to me. Normally, I have to try to put him to sleep. I don't get to spend the time with my children that I would like to, but at least today Brayden and I clicked totally. He was the best child today. He never cried, never screamed, nothing. Just a happy little boy. He has been cutting teeth, and has been a little cranky. Oh well, that is the way it goes at this age. We all know that better days are to come. All of his teeth will be in soon, then he can start working on trying to knock them out, like Matthew did. I wonder how many beds Brayden will roll off of? A few, I'm sure, but maybe he won't land on his face like his brother did.

Well, I guess thats about it for today,

See ya then,

Jim
