Saturday

The post of what we did on Sunday follows this one, I wanted everything in order. That almost worked, except I don't know how to make the pictures get in order. Remember, you can click on the pictures to see a bigger version of it.

Lets see, Saturday night, Matthew and I went to the Dallas Supercross event in Texas Stadium. Here are some pictures for you. I didn't take as many pictures as usual, I actually watched the race for myself. Turns out to be ok, because they were blurry.

Tomm Hahn from Decatur, Texas. I think he finished in the top 10 in the Supercross Lites division.

James "Bubba" Stewart, the race winner, giving a post race interview.

The KTM 50 riders getting ready to put on a show.

Ryan Dungy chasing Darcy Lange in the Lites class.

Ryan Dungy following Ryan Morrias in the Lites division.

Bubba leading the race.

Bubba passing Andrew Short for the lead.

Part 2 of the picture.

Sunday

Sunday pics, story at the bottom. I don't get this new system. Skip down and read that first, then these will make sense.

Matt with Joe and John's autographs.

Matthew on the spotter's tower, watching the pros.

Pretty easy to tell who wasn't on the spotters tower. ME! That's Matt on the corner.

Keith Little being chased by Patrick Brown for 6th or 7th spot, maybe 8th.

Doug Gust, with his teammate, Dustin Wimmer hot on his heals for 4th and 5th.

Joe Byrd. Won both races on Sunday.

Joe signing Matt's Shirt. This was Matt's first autograph of 6 on the day, you should have seen his face. The night before, after the race, he got snubbed by the suprecross riders.

John Natalie Jr. signing Matts shirt, his second autograph.

John Natalie leading Joe Byrd in the pro race. Joe won, but he wouldn't have if....

John wouldn't have broken his chain. He got towed in and signed Matt's shirt after this.

Sorry, I don't know how to use this new one yet.

Sunday morning there was a pro ATV, or 4-wheeler, race just north of Decatur. Well, Matt and I got the OK to go check it out. Turns out that the 4 wheeler race was twice as good as the supercross. The riders were accessable, there were open pro pits and the racing was outstanding. Just so you understand, these guys are the equivilent of the supercross riders we watched the night before, just on quads. Their sport isn't as widely talked about or supported, so they really go out of their way to make you feel like one of the guys, or in Matthew's case, THE GUY! The boy was treated royally. Not just by the riders and crews, but by the track guys too. Matthew's teacher's husband actually runs this track, I mean he IS the guy. So, Matt got a few perks. Watching from the team spotters tower, during the Pro race. Autographs when they weren't supposed to be signing autographs. Thank you to Joe Byrd and John Natalie Jr. for making my boy feel like the king of the track. Outstanding guys. Natalie has been my favorite for a while, but now Byrd is right there. It's not often that the champions from the past two years in any sport are as nice as these two guys. Natalie won in 2005, Byrd in 2006 and they are 1 and 2 in the points right now. Anyway here are some more pictures.
