I still can't seem to get over the hump and lead the Overall competition in either wieght lost or percentage, and I will probably gain a pound this week. OH WELL!

Jim

P.S. Thanks to Angie for getting these up for me this week.

SAMS, Lazertag & Motley Crue

Any idea what these three things have in common? I'll tell you in a minute. But first, I gotta say, I'm missing being a coach for a few weeks. We just finished up with Matthew's basketball season, and now I am waiting to start coaching Natalie's softball team. We have had a coaches meeting, but we haven't started practice yet. I do know that our first games will be on Saturday March 25th, so come on out to see us dominate, I mean play, our first couple of games. Our normal games will be on Monday and Thursday nights, so these could be our only weekend games until our county tournament. I was the only coach, or Natalie Carter (my assistant coach) and I, were the only coaches that had ALL of our players return that didn't move up to 12 and under. There will be 3 Decatur teams again, the other returning team had 4 players ask for their coach again and the other is a new team with a new coach. We well be getting back 10 players from last year, and all of them asked to be back on our team, WOW. We get back all 3 pitchers and both catchers. I would not have dreamed that this would have happened, but it did, and I am astounded, happy as hell, but amazed. The four we didn't get back either moved to 12 and under or are not playing. So we should have a great year, so come out if you can.

OK, SAMS, Lazertag and Motley Crue have me in common. That's right me. I love them all, and visited them all today, in one form or the other. We went to SAMS, the kids and I played lazertag, at Main Event where we had Nat'a birthday party, and I bought the Motley Crue Greatest Hits CD.

SAMS is great for their prices, and the samples.

We rocked lazertag, and I was the highest scorer, but I am way too competetive. I had to get the memory of Bobby beating me at Nat's birthday out of my head. But here is the funny part. I am very aggressive when we play, and I shoot ALOT. But the scorecards show you everything. I shot 867 shots, hitting 412 times for a 47% accuracy rate, but I didn't leave our base, I defended it, and only got hit 106 times. Natalie, aggressive in her own way, especially in attacking the other team's main base, worth 100 points, shot only 455 shots, hitting 123 times for an accuracy rating of 27%, but she was attacking the other teams main base where they all we focused on. Now remember, I told you that I shoot ALOT, but Matthew is a freaking MANIAC! He shot 1431 SHOTS, he only hit 140 times for an accuracy rate of 9%, I didn't think it was possible to shoot more that I did, guess I was wrong. He attacked the secondary base worth only 25 points, and had an easier time of not getting shot, but still scored less than his sister because he obviously can't hit shit, I mean the broad side of a barn.

OK, Motley Crue. They are the best band from my formative music years, as far as I am concerned. I know that not everyone likes them, or has even heard their music, but they have THE BEST DRUMMER TO EVER PICK UP THE STICKS. The way Tommy Lee beats the HELL out of the drums is just PRIMAL. He never misses a single beat, the lead singer, Vince Neal, may forget the words to their own songs, but Tommy never lapses. He is just Incredible, always has been, always will be! If you don't believe me just listen to one song, or two, Live Wire and Wild Side should do the trick for you. I know they do for me.

See ya CRUE,

Jim
